KAMR-TV To Televise West Texas A&M Football
West Texas A&M University Director of Athletics Michael McBroom has announced that the University has reached an agreement with KAMR-TV to televise all available WTAMU away football games for the 2008 and 2009 seasons.

Blaskowski, Two Lady Buffs Participate in NCAA YES Clinic
West Texas A&M University softball coach Kevin Blaskowski as well as players Breanna Adams and Erin Hartigan recently participated as clinicians in a pair of YES clinics sponsored by the NCAA. The clinics were held on May 31-June 1 in Oklahoma City in conjunction with the Women's College World Series.

Lady Buff Basketball Announces Signees for 2008-09
West Texas A&M University women's basketball coach Krista Gerlich has announced the signing of four student-athletes to national letter-of-intent to attend WTAMU and play for the Lady Buffs during the 2008-09 sesason. The foursome, comprised of three centers and a guard, includes Michele Brister, La'Kreeya "KeKe' Hairston, Ceciley Johnson and Ashley Leven.

WTAMU Lands National Champion Among Five Cross Country Signees
Junior college national champion steeplechaser David Barmasai (Iowa Western CC/Eldoret, Kenya) heads a list of five student-athletes who have signed National Letters of Intent to attend West Texas A&M University and run cross country next fall. Joining Barmasai are Jarret Kachel (Garden City CC/Hooker, OK), Jacob Lopez (Canyon HS/Canyon), Jarred Murray (Permian HS/Odessa) and Andrew Striley (Tascosa HS/Amarillo).
