Forrister was tabbed the LSC Men's Academic Runner of the Year, while Crutcher was tabbed LSC Women's Academic Runner of the Year.  Both were voted to the LSC All-Academic team, which recognized 11 runners -- six men and five women -- for both academic and athletic achievement. To be eligible for the All-Academic team, student-athletes must maintain a 3.30 cumulative grade point average. The All-Academic teams are voted upon by the league's sports information directors.

      Joining Forrister on the men's All-Academic team was Wildcat teammate Gary Duncan, Texas A&M-Commerce’s Alex Kimp, Incarnate Word’s Alex Hernandez and Solomon Rotich and Tarleton State’s Miles Joslin.

      Along with Crutcher, on the women's All-Academic team was Midwestern State’s Janel Campbell, Eastern New Mexico’s Megan Bryant, West Texas A&M’s Amber Moore and Tarleton’s Kyndall Trnka.

      All the runners will compete in the LSC Cross Country Championships this Saturday, October 22, in San Angelo, Texas.
