Tickets are now on sale for the Lone Star Football Festival, set to be played Saturday, Sept. 17, at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
Fans can purchase tickets through Ticketmaster or by contacting their campus ticket office. Through Ticketmaster, fans can purchase online at Ticketmaster.com, by phone at 800-745-3000, and at numerous Ticketmaster retail outlets.
A single ticket is good for all three games with general admission seating. Adult tickets are $25 and students $10, with children 1-year and older requiring a ticket. To be admitted with a student ticket, bearer must be between 1 and 18 years old or present valid college ID.
The single-day event includes three games featuring two Lone Star Conference contests and one marquee non-conference matchup. Pairings for the league games are Midwestern State against Texas A&M-Commerce and West Texas A&M versus Texas A&M-Kingsville. The non-conference tilt will see LSC champion Abilene Christian tackling three-time NCAA Division II national champion North Alabama of the Gulf South Conference.
Game times are set for 12 p.m., 4 p.m. and 8 p.m., with MSU-A&M-C first, followed by ACU-UNA and WTAMU-Kingsville.
The LSC, founded in 1931, has a proud history as one of the nation’s greatest small college football leagues. The conference made its mark in the NAIA, especially from 1969 to 1979 when four LSC schools combined to win 10 national titles in that 11-season span. The LSC became affiliated with the NCAA in 1982 and now is annually well-represented in the Division II playoffs, with more than a dozen former players currently on NFL rosters.

In addition to being home of the Dallas Cowboys and the annual AT&T Cotton Bowl Classic, the stadium will host the 2014 NCAA men’s basketball Final Four and already served as home to Super Bowl XLV last February, the 2010 NBA All-Star Game and 2009 and 2010 Big 12 Championship football games.
