OFFENSIVE
Daeshon Francis, UT Permian Basin, JR, Forward, Indianapolis, Ind., Lawrence North
Junior forward Daeshon Francis led the Falcons in scoring twice this past week as the Falcons picked up wins over UC Colorado Springs, Adams State and University of the Southwest. Francis averaged 23.3 points per game to lead UTPB on the week and shot 65 percent over the three games, including hitting 11-13 from the field in the victory over Adams State. He also grabbed an average of 7.7 rebounds per contest and had nine assists.

DEFENSIVE
Dorian Armstrong, Texas A&M University - Commerce, JR, Forward, Detroit, Mich., Mt. Clemens HS
Armstrong was a disrupter on the defensive end in both wins for A&M-Commerce with three blocks and a steal in each of the contests. He had 14 defensive rebounds and 21 total rebounds, averaging nearly a double-double with 9.0 points and 10.5 rebounds per game. Armstrong was also efficient on the offensive end, averaging two assists while shooting 67 percent from the field. He had a double-double against Oklahoma Christian, scoring 10 points on 5-8 shooting and grabbing 12 rebounds. Armstrong scored eight points on 3-4 shooting against Newman while grabbing nine rebounds.
