Cameron’s Vinicius Santos earned Lone Star Conference Men’s Tennis Player of the Year honors as the annual awards were announced by league officials on Thursday.
Santos was named the men’s top player, while also earning All-LSC honors for his singles play.
Midwestern State took home three special awards with Dillon Pineda named Sportsmanship Player of the Year, Angel Palacios tabbed Freshman of the Year, and Scott Linn claiming Coach of the Year distinction.
Western New Mexico’s Zachary Grabovic earned Newcomer of the Year honors.
The all-conference program recognized 15 student-athletes, with a player from each of the four LSC teams. The head coaches at each LSC member institution vote upon the all-conference honors.
