Six teams set for LSC Baseball Championship
The top six Lone Star Conference baseball squads will meet in Abilene, Texas, this weekend for the annual LSC Baseball Championship Tournament.
The tournament features six teams for the third straight year. The double-elimination event starts on Saturday and concludes on Tuesday.
All games will take place at Crutcher Scott Field on the campus of Abilene Christian University. Tickets will go on sale on Monday, April 21, and can be purchased by calling the ACU Athletics Ticket office at 325-674-6853. Tournament passes will be sold through noon on Friday, May 2, for $20. Tournament passes purchased at the gate through Sunday can be purchased for $25 per person. Single-day tickets will be $10 with children under the age of 12 being admitted free of charge. Championship day tickets will be $5 per person with 12 and under gaining free admission.
LSC champion ACU is the top seed, while Angelo State is the No. 2 seed. Southeastern Oklahoma is seeded third, followed by Cameron at No. 4, Central Oklahoma at No. 5 and Texas A&M-Kingsville at No. 6.
