Women’s Basketball: WTAMU punches ticket to Elite Eight with 65-52 victory over UCO



West Texas A&M used a strong second half to top Central Oklahoma, 65-52, in the NCAA Division II South Central Region championship game and earn a trip to the Elite Eight next week.

The Lady Buffs play Delta State, the South Region champion, on Tuesday, March 24, at 8:30 p.m. in San Antonio, Texas.

This is the first trip to the Elite Eight for WTAMU since the 1996-97 season.
