The season continues for West Texas A&M at the NCAA Division II Women's Basketball Elite Eight in San Antonio, Texas.

After winning the Lone Star Conference and South Central Regional titles, the Lady Buffs (28-5) face Delta State (29-6) in the quarterfinals at 8:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 24, at Bill Greehey Arena on the campus of St. Mary's University.

WTAMU and Delta State will be playing for just the second time with the Lady Buffs winning the previous meeting in the 1988 NCAA semifinals, 77-56.

WTAMU is in the Elite Eight for the first time since 1997 and the fourth time in school history.

The semifinal games on March 25 will be televised live on ESPNU and the championship game on March 27 will be aired live on ESPN2.
