There was no shortage of points scored in six Lone Star Conference contests this week.  West Texas A&M led the offensive surge with 62 points in front of a LSC and school record 23,276 fans at Kimbrough Memorial Stadium.  The Buffs defeated Eastern New Mexico to capture the Wagon Wheel traveling trophy and remain undefeated this season.
Tarleton State stayed perfect on the year with a 44-32 comeback win over Midwestern State, while Abilene Christian posted 52 points in a win over Angelo State in South Division action.
In the North, Texas A&M-Commerce and Southeastern Oklahoma earned victories, while East Central defeated Texas A&M-Kingsville in the only crossover game of the week.
Next week's schedule features WTAMU at ACU in a battle for the upper hand in the South Division and overall LSC title pictures with TSU.
