Football: West Texas A&M, Tarleton State remain unbeaten

SOSU's Marcus High

West Texas A&M and Tarleton State both remained undefeated this season with wins this week.  WTAMU won on the road against Abilene Christian, 41-31, while TSU earned a victory at Eastern New Mexico, 40-10.
In the North Division, Southeastern Oklahoma beat Central Oklahoma for the sixth straight time, 24-15, to create a three-way tie atop the North standings.
Midwestern State picked up a win over Texas A&M-Kingsville, 73-6, to stop a two-game losing skid and Southwestern Oklahoma topped Northeastern State, 31-24, for their first win in Tahlequah, Okla., since 1996.  In the only crossover game of the week, Texas A&M-Commerce edged Angelo State, 20-17.
