Men's Golf: CU's Svajlen advances to nationals
Cameron's Peter Svajlen finished atop the individual leaderboard at the South Central Regional to qualify for the NCAA Championships next week in Houston, Texas.
Svajlen finished the three-round tournament with an overall score of 208 (68-70-70, -5) to win the South Central and place third in the Super Regional.
St. Edward's won the team title with an 11-under 841 showing, while Abilene Christian finished second overall with 872 followed by Cameron in third at 879, Southeastern Oklahoma fourth with 884, Southwestern Oklahoma fifth at 889, Central Oklahoma sixth with 893 and Northeastern State seventh at 894.
