Women’s Golf: TSU finishes 5th at NCAA Championships



Tarleton State wrapped up play at the 2008 NCAA Division II Women's Golf Championships in fifth place.

      The TexAnns shot 90-over with a four-round total of 1,242 (313-310-310-309).  Rollins College won the event with a 29-over 1,181.

      Tarleton concludes a memorable season in which they won 10 of the 12 tournaments they competed in.

      Shraddhanjali Singh led TSU finishing tied for 11th.  She shot 14-over for a total of 302 (76-74-78-74).  Just behind her was teammate Carla Cooper with a 16-over 304.

      Northeastern State's Stephanie Bird shot 31-over to finish 26th while competing as an individual.
