![]() ASU tops Winona State to advance at Softball National Championship Finals 5/23/09 - Angelo State topped Winona State, 7-3, in an elimination game at the 2009 NCAA Division II National Championship Finals in Salem, Va. Macy Baker and Laura Lopez each hit home runs to send the Rambelles (50-9) to the national semifinals for the second time in school history. ASU needs two wins over Alabama-Huntsville on Sunday to earn a spot in the championship game Monday. The first game is at 1 p.m. CST with the second game at 5 p.m. if needed. |
