Track & Field: ACU wins men's and women's LSC titles
Abilene Christian won both the men's and women's titles as the Lone Star Conference Track & Field Championships concluded Sunday in Abilene, Texas.
It was the 15th consecutive LSC title for ACU's men, while the Wildcat women won for the third straight year. ACU has captured 23 of the 25 all-time conference women's track titles.
On the men's side, ACU totaled 290 points followed by runner-up Tarleton State with 125. Angelo State was third with 102, Texas A&M-Commerce fourth with 54, Texas A&M-Kingsville fifth with 50 and Eastern New Mexico sixth with 30.
ACU's women recorded 259 points to finish in front of runner-up ASU with 223 points. TSU was third with 95, TAMUK fourth with 41, A&M-C fifth with 40 and ENMU sixth with 23.
