Four receive Track & Field Athlete of the Year honors

Angelo State's Aisha Adams and Adree Lakey, Tarleton State's Jared McNeil and Abilene Christian's Camille Vandendreissche were selected as the 2009 Lone Star Conference Track & Field Athletes of the Year. The awards were announced Tuesday following a vote of the league's head coaches.

ASU women, ACU men finish second at NCAA Track & Field Championships
5/23/09 - The Angelo State women and Abilene Christian men both finished second at the 2009 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships in San Angelo, Texas.

LSC announces Track & Field awards
5/15/09 - Abilene Christian topped the All-Lone Star Conference awards with 25 of the 48 student-athletes on the list for their performances at the 2009 LSC Men's and Women's Track & Field Championships. The awards were announced Friday by league officials.

5/9/09 - Angelo State took home the Lone Star Conference Women's Track and Field Championship hardware on Saturday night at Javelina Stadium. The Rambelles had the top six individual scorers in the meet to total a league-record 331 points.
