Dr. Lloyd Vincent served as ASU's president from 1967-94 and to this day is the only university president that has been inducted into the LSC Hall of Honor, earning that achievement posthumously in 1999.

Dr. Vincent served on the NCAA President's Council from 1987-91 and was twice named the chairman of the LSC Council of Presidents (1981-82, 1986-87).  He passed away in office in 1994.
