Football: West Texas A&M remains unbeaten

West Texas A&M remained perfect on the year with a crossover win over Central Oklahoma to improve to 10-0 overall for the first time ever, 8-0 in the Lone Star Conference and 5-0 in the South Division.  The win clinched at least a share of the LSC title for the Buffs and put them in the driver's seat for the LSC and South Division crowns.  WTAMU travels to Tarleton State for an important game this week.
In the South Division, Abilene Christian topped Texas A&M-Kingsville, Midwestern State won big over Eastern New Mexico and Tarleton State defeated Angelo State.
Northeastern State and Southwestern Oklahoma picked up wins in North Division action.
The regular season wraps up next week with six divisional contests and one non-conference game.  The North, South and LSC titles will all be decided on Saturday.

Polk completed 15-of-24 passes for 248 yards and three touchdowns including a pair strikes to DelJuan Lee (12, 17) and another to Andy Tanner (38) for the first three scores of the game.
