Texas A&M-Commerce will host the Lone Star Conference Women’s Soccer Championship Tournament after winning its third title. The championship will be November 7-9 at the Lion Soccer Field in Commerce, Texas.
A&M-C, 13-5 overall and 7-3 in the LSC, is the top seed for the four-team, single-elimination conference championship. The Lions claimed their third LSC championship following titles in 1999 and 2004.
Angelo State is the No. 2 seed, Eastern New Mexico is third and Midwestern State fourth.
The championship starts on Friday, Nov. 7, with ENMU against ASU and A&M-C vs. MSU. The semifinals will be played at 5 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. with the host to determine the order of games.
The Friday winners get a day off before playing on Sunday at 1 p.m. for the LSC Tournament crown and automatic bid into the NCAA Division II championship field.
