Vesely was a one-man wrecking crew against the nationally-ranked and league-leading Angelo State Rams, tallying seven hits, eight RBI and four doubles at the plate, and tossing a shutout on the mound to lead Texas A&M-Kingsville to a 4-3 series victory over the Rams... Vesely went 1-for-3 with a walk and RBI in game one vs. the Rams and followed with a 3-for-5 performance at the plate in game two Friday, collecting two doubles, two runs and two RBI... a day later, he struck out seven in a shutout (7.0 innings) and allowed just two hits...at one point, he retired 15 consecutive hitters... the senior went 3-for-4 at the dish with two doubles and six RBI.

Bryan Belote, Cameron University, SR, SP, Angleton, Texas, Angleton HS
Belote tossed a complete game four hit shutout to beat No. 21 West Texas A&M and prevented a sweep for the Aggies in Canyon, Texas. The Cameron senior tossed 127 pitches and struck out five WT batters. Three of WT's hits came in the first two innings with Belote allowing a runner in scoring position twice. Belote sat down 16 of the final 17 WT batters in the dominating Sunday evening performance.

Vesely matched his performance at the plate with a gem on the mound, going the distance in a two-hit shutout over No. 30 Angelo State... the senior struck out seven and allowed just two hits in the victory... at one point, he retired 15 consecutive batters and allowed the two hits in the first and seventh frames... the 7.0 innings are a new career-high for the Victoria native.
