Angelo State captured the 2019 Lone Star Conference Volleyball Championship with a 3-2 triumph over Tarleton State.

The Rambelles won their 10th LSC title and earned the league’s automatic bid to the NCAA Championship while improving to 28-2 overall this year.

Kailyn Gilbreath led the ASU attack with 15 kills, while Sundara Chinn, who was named tournament MVP, and Baleigh Allen each added nine.  Makenna Hanssen led the defensive effort with 24 digs.  Chinn, Allen and Hanssen represented the Rambelles on the all-tournament team.
 
The 2019 NCAA Volleyball Championship field will be announced Monday, November 25 at 6:30 p.m. on NCAA.com.
