MEN’S TRACK
Jahmaal Wilson, West Texas A&M, FR, Applied Communications, Nassau, Bahamas, R.M. Bailey HS
Wilson picked up a pair of victories this past weekend at the Power 5 in Alamosa, Colo. The freshman ran 8.10 in the 60-meter hurdle final to win the event after running the 10th fastest time in the nation in the prelims (8.07). In the 60-meter dash, he ran 7.02 in the prelims before running 6.95 in the final to finish ahead of Colorado Mesa's Elijiah Williams.
MEN’S FIELD
Tyler Pickens, West Texas A&M, SR, Computer Information Studies, Amarillo, Texas, Amarillo HS
Pickens won the shot put at the Power 5 with the second-best mark in the Lone Star Conference this season. The senior won the event by close to eight inches with a mark of 52-5.5 (15.99m) on his first attempt of the competition. He also finished fifth in the weight throw with a toss of 49-9.75 (15.18m).
WOMEN’S TRACK
Leah Belfield, West Texas A&M, FR, Sports and exercise science, Te Awamutu, New Zealand, Te Awamutu HS
Belfield picked up her first collegiate victory this past weekend at the Power 5 in Alamosa, Colo. The freshman ran 7.60 in the final of the 60-meter dash to defeat Brooklyn York of Colorado Mesa. She also ran 7.60 in the prelims to tie her personal best.

Nelloms had an impressive weekend for the Lady Buffs in Colorado as the freshman won the high jump and finished second in the triple jump at the Power 5. She picked up her first collegiate victory and provisional mark in the high jump with a clearance of 5-6 (1.68m) on her first attempt. She also finished second in the triple jump with a mark of 38-3.25 (11.66m).

Ivar Moinat, Eastern New Mexico, placed second over the weekend at the MLK Indoor Invitational in the 800-meter with a time of 1:53.55. Moinat knocked off 1.05 seconds from his previous time recorded at the Corky Classic. Moinat raced against Division I and Division II schools.
Corey Perryman, UT Tyler, who set the program-record in the 60-meter hurdles last week at Texas A&M, advanced to the finals of the hurdles at the UAB Green & Gold Invitational and was just five-hundredths off his record with a time of 8.49 in the finals.
Ty McDaniel, UT Tyler, registered program all-time top-five marks in both of his throwing events, climbing to second on the program list in the weight throw with a toss of 16.19 meters (53-feet, 1½-inches) while notching fifth on the shot put list with a throw of 13.03 meters (42-feet, 9-inches).
Baylee Cochran, UT Tyler, recorded program top-five efforts in both throwing events, registering third in program history in the weight throw with a best throw of 14.77 meters (48-feet, 5½-inches) and fourth in the shot put at 11.71 meters (38-feet, 5-inches).
Summer Grubbs, UT Tyler, earned a pair of individual school records in the 60-meter hurdles and the long jump, and she added a third while running a leg of the distance medley relay, which established another program record. She broke her own individual school records with improved performances, edging ahead of her previous best in the long jump with a mark of 5.56 meters (18-feet, 3-inches). Grubbs ran a 9.22 in the qualifying heat of the sprint hurdles, shattering her previous mark of 9.45 by 23-hundredths of a second, and her time of 9.25 in the semifinals was also two-tenths ahead of her previous career-best. She combined with Natasha Carcano, Shelby John, and Theresa Simmons to establish the program-record in the distance medley relay with a time of 13:26.98.
