Jordan Withrow, Tarleton State University, SR, Kinesiology, RHP, Trenton, Texas, Trenton HS
Withrow handed No. 2 UT Tyler their first loss in record-setting fashion. The senior right-hander twirled her third career no-hitter to defeat the Patriots 3-0 in game one of Friday’s doubleheader. Withrow was in complete control over the first six innings with only a walk and hit by pitch against her nearly flawless ledger. Withrow took her gem into the seventh and started things off with a walk but quickly bounced back with a fly ball to center and a strikeout. Then an error extended the inning by one more batter but Withrow answered with a swinging punchout on a full-count pitch to seal the deal. The senior right-hander went all seven innings to record her 20th career complete-game shutout and 11th win of the season. She struck out nine and walked two. It was her third career no-hitter, which ties the Tarleton program record with Heather Russell. She followed up by coming on in game two to get the final eight outs of the game to earn her second pitching victory of the day and complete a 2-0 weekend against UTT. Over her 9.2 innings of work, Withrow allowed just one base hit and two walks while striking out 14 in one of the most dominant pitching performances in recent memory.

SELECTED NOTABLE PERFORMANCES
Georgia Capell, Tarleton State University, was a run-scoring machine as the junior All-American led No. 21 Tarleton past No. 2 UT Tyler in a doubleheader sweep Friday night. Tarleton handed the Patriots their first two losses of the season in Friday’s home opener. After a 1-for-3 showing with a run scored in the first game, Capell had her first four-hit game of the season in the nightcap – going 4-for-4 at the dish with four runs scored and one driven in – to lead the Texans past the Patriots 10-6. With game two knotted at 6-6 in the sixth inning, Capell sparked the Tarleton rally with a double down the right field line to set up the Texans with two runners in scoring position and no outs. The Texans went on to plate four in that inning to complete the win. For the weekend, Capell hit .714 with five runs scored – of the 13 total team runs – and a 1.000 slugging percentage.
Jaiden Johnson, Oklahoma Christian University, had another outstanding week, hitting .600 with a 1.300 slugging percentage as OC split road doubleheaders at Texas Woman’s and No. 14 Texas A&M-Commerce. Four of her six hits went for extra bases. She had two hits, including a double, and scored both OC runs in a 2-0 win at Texas Woman’s. She homered (to give OC the early lead) and doubled in a 3-1 loss at TAMUC, then hit an RBI triple and later scored in the first inning to give OC another early lead in a game the Eagles won 4-3.       Lauren Lindgren, Midwestern State University, went 2-for-4 with a double and a three-run home run to lift Midwestern State to a 7-5 win over No. 2 UT Tyler in game two of a doubleheader on Sunday. Overall, the outfielder finished 4-for-7 (.571) with three runs scored against the 2nd ranked Patriots.
Marley Basurto, West Texas A&M University, came off the bench to make a big impact for the Lady Buffs at the plate as the freshman roped a single up the middle to add an insurance run in the Lady Buffs 6-4 victory over Western New Mexico.  She went 5-for-9 (.556) with a double and triple and was responsible for three runs while driving in two.  The outfielder held a .889 slugging percentage and a .533 on-base percentage.
Courtney Barnhill, Angelo State University, continues to make Angelo State history, adding to her home run record, which she tied against the Cameron Aggies and broke against the record against the St. Mary's Rattlers, hitting her 47th home run. Barnhill was successful in stealing four bases in four attempts.
Skylar Herrera, Lubbock Christian University, had a balanced week of production while helping to a 4-0 week, with home conference sweeps of St. Edward's and St. Mary's. She had hits in all four games, leading to a trio of multi-RBI performances. The freshman also had multi-run games in three of the contests. Three of her seven hits were for extra bases, including one home run on the week. She was 2-for-3 when batting with the bases empty and 5-for-10 with bases occupied. In addition, she was 4-for-5 with runners in scoring position, 2-for-2 scoring the runner home with a runner at third base with less than two outs and 2-for-2 in two-out at-bats, which led to two two-out RBI. She did not strand any runners on base during any of her at-bats.
Brenna Busby, Cameron University, was a key part of the Aggies 2-2 record this week as the senior shortstop hit .462 against No. 14 A&M-Commerce and Texas Woman's. The Cameron home run leader added two more to her career total of now 50 homers with a two-run shot against the Lions and then a grand slam at TWU two days later.       Mak Dominguez, The University of Texas at Tyler, in three straight games batting leadoff, batted 5-for-11 with two doubles, a home run, three runs scored, and nine RBIs… Dominguez has driven in at least two runs in all three of those games batting leadoff... She didn't allow a single earned run while she was in the circle, allowing only eight hits in 10.2 innings that she pitched. With the score tied at 7-7 in the game on Saturday, Vasquez would come in clutch for ASU, grabbing a save for herself as the Rambelles would take the game in eight innings, 10-7. Vasquez is now 2-0 on the season with a 0.00 ERA.
Maxine Valdez, Lubbock Christian University, the freshman pitcher was key in the circle, appearing in three of LCU's 4-0 week of games (sweeping St. Edward's and St. Mary's).
