For the second straight year, DBU’s Hanna Harrison was named Lone Star Conference Player of the Year to headline the annual postseason women’s golf awards announced by league officials on Friday.
 
      Harrison headlined the women’s first team that included four Patriot teammates including Evelyn Arguelles, Faith Delagarza, Julia Garcia, and Olivia Mitchell; Oklahoma Christian’s Abigail Rigsby; UAFS’ Addison Mitchell; and West Texas A&M’s Loukyee Songprasert.
 
      DBU’s Mitchell claimed Freshman of the Year honors, while Kenny Trapp earned Coach of the Year distinction for the second straight year.
 
      Texas A&M-Commerce’s Inma Ortiz Prieto was named Newcomer of the Year.
 
      In total, 17 women’s players were All-LSC selections with eight additional players were on the second team and one honorable mention selection.  The awards are voted upon by the league coaches.
