Three men's tennis teams selected for NCAA tournament

2021 NCAA DII Men's Tennis Championship Regional Brackets

Three Lone Star Conference men’s tennis teams are headed to the 2021 NCAA Division II Men’s Tennis Championship after earning spots in next week’s regional tournament.
 
           Cameron claimed the top seed in the South Central Regional, which will be held May 9-10 in Arlington, Texas and hosted by Midwestern State, after receiving the league’s automatic bid as the regular-season runner-up based on tiebreakers. The Aggies finished the regular season 11-7 overall and will be awarded a bye in the opening round.
 
            Midwestern State is the second seed in the South Central and enters the tournament at 10-6 overall. St. Mary’s secured the third seed in the regional tournament after collecting a 13-4 record overall in 2021.
 
            The Mustangs and Rattlers will play in the opening round of the tournament on Monday, May 9 at 12 p.m. CT at the Arlington Tennis Center with the winner advancing to face top-seeded CU on Tuesday May 10 at 12 p.m. CT.

            The winner of the South Central Regional Tournament will advance to the finals, May 18-19-20 in Surprise, Arizona.
