PLAYERS OF THE WEEK
OFFENSIVE
Kylan Harrison, Midwestern State, SR, Sports & Leisure, WR, Paris, Texas, W.T. White HS
Harrison posted his fourth career 100-yard receiving game, recorded his longest collegiate reception and scored the winning touchdown in overtime to lift No. 15 Midwestern State to a 31-24 win over Eastern New Mexico Saturday night at Memorial Stadium. The senior from Paris, Texas caught five passes for 116 yards and two touchdowns as the Mustangs rolled to their fourth straight victory. Harrison raced 80 yards for a touchdown on a wide receiver screen in the first quarter, then snared a 10-yard score in overtime to clinch the victory. Harrison has accounted for at least one touchdown in each of MSU's four games this season.

DEFENSIVE
Josh Quinton, Angelo State, SR, Criminal Justice, LB, Lubbock, Texas, Lubbock Cooper HS
Quinton led the Rams defense with nine tackles and collected a sack in a 14-9 victory over Central Washington.  ASU made their longest road trip of the season, holding CWU out the endzone and giving up only 202 yards and three field goals.

SPECIAL TEAMS
Carson Roberts, UT Permian Basin, FR, Biology, K, Odessa, Texas, Permian HS
Roberts was instrumental in the Falcons 27-19 win over Western New Mexico, handling all the kicking duties in rainy conditions in Silver City.  Roberts banged through a pair of field goals including a 40 yarder late in the fourth quarter to seal the win.  The freshman flipped the field on multiple occasions averaging 38.3 yards per punt, with all of them being fair caught.  On kickoffs, he had a pair go for a touchback as the Mustangs only averaged 18.5 yards per return.  He is a perfect 12-for-12 on the season in PAT attempts.

Jayvon Davis, UT Permian Basin, continues to be a spark for the Falcon offense as each week his workload has increased.  This week at Western New Mexico, Davis rushed for 121 yards, the fourth most in a game in the LSC this season, and a touchdown late in the fourth quarter to put the game out of reach.  The true freshman is seventh in the LSC this season with 233 yards on the ground and has the second least carries of anyone within the top 10.

Bryce Coleman, Western New Mexico, played an instrumental piece in the Mustangs offense against UT Permian Basin in a 27-19 loss. When the Mustangs needed a first down, Coleman got the extra yards to move the chains. Coleman's 128 all-purpose yards and late touchdown in the fourth quarter got the Mustangs within one possession to tie the game up.

Cedrick Wilcox III, Texas A&M-Commerce, made seven tackles in the 35-10 win for A&M-Commerce over A&M-Kingsville. Five of his seven tackles were solo, including one for loss and picked up a blocked kick and recovered it for eight yards.

Jaques Tyler, UT Permian Basin, was a huge reason for the Falcons ninth straight victory over a Division II opponent on Saturday.  The sophomore had two acrobatic interceptions including one late in the fourth quarter to seal the victory over Western New Mexico.  Tyler currently leads the LSC in interceptions (3) and pass break ups (4) as the Falcons lead the conference as a team with five interceptions.

Cooper Hamilton, Eastern New Mexico, got the Greyhounds on the board with a field goal in the 3rd quarter on Saturday against #15 Midwestern State. He then hit a 38-yard field goal with seconds left in the fourth quarter to send the game to overtime.
