DBU and West Texas A&M played this past week with the majority of Lone Star Conference teams tipping off this week.

      LSC men’s basketball teams are 0-4 overall and 0-0 against the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, the other conference in the South Central Region.

Damion Thornton, West Texas A&M, SR, Sports & Exercise Science, Edmond, Okla., Edmond North HS

Thornton totaled 36 points in the opening weekend to lead the Buffs offense, including a season-high 23 against Florida Southern at the Small College Basketball Hall of Fame Classic in Florida.  The senior from Edmond, Okla. shot 66.7% (14-of-21) from the floor and 66.7% (8-of-12) from the charity stripe to go along with nine rebounds, five steals and one assist in losses to Northwest Missouri State and FSC.
