Game two saw Becker go 1-2 with a walk before an explosive game three performance in which he went 3-5, with two walks, a double, and a run batted in that assisted in a 20-4 win over the Falcons. In the series finale, The Giddings, Texas native logged another double, going 2-5 in a 5-3 extra-innings comeback win.

Ryan Johnson, West Texas A&M, powered the West Texas A&M offense to a Lone Star Conference sweep of Eastern New Mexico this past weekend in Portales. The junior from Albuquerque hit .462 with two doubles, a triple and a homer to drive in 11 RBI with 13 total bases for a slugging percentage of 1.000 to go along with five walks and two hit-by-pitch for an on-base clip of .591. Defensively, Johnson registered two putouts and an assist in the outfield.

Jordan Gochenour, UT Tyler, had a monster weekend against Texas A&M International. After an 0-for-4 start to the series on Friday night, Gochenour responded by going 6-for-9 over the next three games with three doubles, two walks, four RBI's, a home run, and five runs scored. In the first game of the doubleheader, he went a perfect 3-for-3 with a double and an RBI while scoring two runs. The final game of the series is where Gochenour showed off. Gochenour went 2-for-3 in the contest, with both hits coming in a nine-run sixth inning for the Patriots. He led the inning off with a solo home run and later drove in a pair of runs with a deep double down the left-field line. Gochenour finished the run-rule contest with three runs scored and two walks in the contest as well.

Ryan McGowen, St. Mary's, was the catalyst in the Rattlers' win over No. 3 Central Missouri, doubling in the first inning to score two runs and scoring in the frame to give StMU a 6-0 lead in the first inning, which they went on to win 9-5. McGowen was 2-for-3 in the game with two doubles, two RBI and one run scored. He also drew two walks. For the week, he was 3-for-7 with a .714 slugging percentage and stole a base in the team's win over No. 19 Arkansas Tech.

Jayce Clem, Cameron, was a key part of the Aggies split against St. Edward’s this past weekend. The red-shirt sophomore was an on-base machine, recording eight hits and a pair of walks in 15 at-bats. Clem opened the series with two hits and a pair of runs scored and then followed that up with a 3-4 performance with three runs scored in the 9-1 win. He then added a 2-4 day with a run scored and an RBI in the series finale win.

After surrendering the only Texas A&M International run of the game on two hits in the first inning, Blomquist allowed just five runners to reach base over the next four and two-thirds innings. Only once was there more than one runner on the basepaths for the Dustdevils when Blomquist was on the mound. He had a pair of three up, three down innings and effectively shut down an offense averaging 9.5 runs per game coming into the contest.

Kalen Haynes, Cameron, has been dominant in his first two starts on the mound for the Aggies. After giving up just one run in a win over Texas A&M-Kingsville last week, the big lefty did it against St. Edward's, holding them to just one run and three hits in five innings. Haynes also had six strikeouts to record his second win in as many starts. He also drove in three runs while starting at first base in the series opener.
