Angelo State, Central Washington, Texas A&M-Kingsville, and Western New Mexico recorded Lone Star Conference wins last week.
This week’s schedule includes four LSC contests and one non-conference game.
LSC football teams are 17-11 overall this season. The squads are 7-1 combined versus the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference and Northern Sun Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, which are also in Super Regional Four.

LSC TO HOST 2022 DIVISION II FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP GAME
The NCAA Division II Football Committee selected McKinney Independent School District Stadium in McKinney, Texas, as the host site of the 2022-25 Division II football national championship games.
McKinney ISD Stadium and Community Event Center, a 12,000-seat facility built primarily for football, will host the Division II Football Championship games on December 17, 2022; December 16, 2023; December 21, 2024; and December 20, 2025.
The Lone Star Conference in conjunction with McKinney ISD hosted the 2018, 2019, and 2021 championship games.

Anderson scored on the Javelinas' opening drive and broke a 32-yard touchdown run in the third quarter as they upset No. 14 West Texas A&M, 31-24. The junior had 155 rushing yards with an average of 4.6 per attempt in the road win. He added three catches for 19 yards.
DEFENSIVE
Isaiah Jacobs, Texas A&M-Kingsville, SR, Kinesiology, S, Austin, Texas, Jack C. Hays HS
Jacobs snagged two crucial interceptions to help the Javelinas upset No. 14 West Texas A&M, 31-24. His second pick sealed the win in the fourth quarter. Jacobs added five tackles to limit WT to 317 yards.

Gilbert Garza, Texas A&M-Kingsville, SO, Kinesiology, K, Weslaco, Texas, Weslaco East HS
Garza drilled a career-best 52-yard field goal in the Javelinas' 31-24 victory over West Texas A&M. He added four extra points for seven kicking points.
