The 2023 LSC Indoor Track and Field Championships will be held at the Texas Tech Sports Performance Center in Lubbock, Texas on February 18-19.

MEN’S TRACK
Ja’Qualon Scott, Texas A&M-Kingsville, SO, Business Marketing, Houston, Texas, LV Hightower HS
Scott ran the fifth fastest 60m hurdle times in the nation on Saturday, clocking in at 7.89 at the Fastrak Indoor Collegiate Opener en route to a gold medal. He also collected third in the 200m at the Opener with a time of 22.30. Additionally, Scott also competed at the Robert Platt Invitational over the weekend, where he placed third in the 60m hurdles at 7.92.

Thomas Nieto, Texas A&M-Kingsville, SO, Undecided, Columbia
Nieto's stellar season continued as the Columbian set a new season-best as well as the top pole vault mark in all of NCAA Division II. Nieto cleared a bar of 17-6.5 (5.35m) at the FasTrak Indoor Collegiate Opener to place second, a day after recording a third-place performance at the Robert Platt Invitational at 17-5 (5.31m).

Hernandez logged a pair of first-place performances at the FasTrak Collegiate Opener over the weekend, launching the shot put 43-7.75 (13.30m) before heaving the implement 49-0.75 (14.95m) in the weight throw.
