The LSC Men’s Soccer Championship is set for Nov. 4-10-12. Quarterfinals will be on campus, while the semifinals and championship match will be at the site of the No. 1 seed.

OFFENSIVE
Samuele Muroni, Midwestern State, Jr., Marketing, MF, Olbia, Italy, ITC D. Panedda HS
Muroni had four goals – including a hat trick – to fuel two wins for No. 2 ranked Midwestern State. Muroni’s three-goal match came in a come-from-behind 6-3 win on the road against Texas A&M International. One of his goals was on a bicycle kick. Earlier in the week, he had the game-winner against UT Tyler in a matchup of nationally-ranked teams. Muroni, who only took those four shots on goal, also helped the Mustangs stay unbeaten and extend their win streak to 10 games.
DEFENSIVE
Felix Drizinsky, Eastern New Mexico, So., Marketing, D, Essen, Germany, Carl-Human Gymnasium
Drizinsky helped Eastern New Mexico to a 1-0-1 week that included a shutout of Lubbock Christian. Drizinsky, who wins the league’s top weekly defensive award for the second time this season, played 172 minutes against LCU and St. Edward’s. He also added a pair of assists in the Greyhounds’ 3-1 win over St. Edward’s, including the game-winner.

Miles recorded shutouts against Eastern New Mexico and nationally-ranked UT Tyler to help Lubbock Christian to an unbeaten week. Miles had eight saves on 26 shots faced. He is second in the LSC with four shutouts this season.
