Thanksgiving week provided final tune-ups ahead of the opening weekend of the Lone Star Conference schedule on Thursday (Nov. 30). All 16 LSC teams are in action on Thursday and Saturday (Nov. 30, Dec. 2) in cross division play.

Senior guard Sawyer Lloyd averaged 18.5 points shooting 61.5 percent from the floor (16-for-26), including five from long-range, as Angelo State picked up an 80-61 win vs. Missouri Southern and dropped a hard-fought 63-53 loss against #15 Tampa. Lloyd recorded her second double-double of the season, gathering 21 points and 12 rebounds vs. Tampa. Over the two games, Lloyd totaled 18 rebounds, 12 assists, five steals and a pair of blocked shots.

DEFENSIVE
Malea Jackson, Texas A&M International, F, Grad., Psychology, Fishers, Ind. (Hamilton Southeastern HS)
Forward Malea Jackson helped Texas A&M International in a 2-0 week, holding Central Oklahoma and Southeastern Oklahoma to a combined 43.7 percent field goal shooting. Jackson had eight points, six rebounds and five steals in the 99-72 win over Central Oklahoma. Jackson came back the next day with a steal, three rebounds and 14 points in the 86-65 win vs. Southeastern Oklahoma as the Dustdevils remained unbeaten for the season (7-0).
