Cameron, Lubbock Christian, St. Edward's, Texas Woman's, and UT Tyler each went 2-0 in Lone Star Conference contests last week. TWU remains unbeaten in conference (18-0) and divisional play (12-0).
LSC games continue this week with each team playing a double round-robin schedule within their eight-team division. Additionally, teams will play eight crossover competitions against teams from the opposite division for a total of 22 conference games.
The LSC Women’s Basketball Championship will feature an eight-team field in 2023 with seeding based on the 22 conference games. The divisional winners will receive the top two seeds in the tournament. The championships are set to take place March 2-3-4-5, 2023, at the Comerica Center in Frisco, Texas.
LSC women’s basketball teams are 22-16 against the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, the other league in the South Central Region.

OFFENSIVE
Grace Foster, Lubbock Christian, SO, Management Information Systems, Forward, Childress, Texas, Childress
Foster helped lead LCU to a 2-0 week with road wins at Western New Mexico and Eastern New Mexico, as she led the team in points (20.5) and rebounds (8.5) per game. She posted 24 points at WNMU, with 15 scored in the second half. LCU was able to overcome a halftime deficit with her 15 points, which was more than the entire WNMU team scored in the half (14). Foster followed the performance with her ninth double-double of the season, scoring 17 points and adding 10 rebounds at ENMU. The two wins kept the Lady Chaps atop the West Division standings.

Ingram helped lock down the paint scoring for the Pioneers' opponents in two victories this week. In wins over Texas A&M International and Texas A&M-Kingsville, she recorded three steals and two blocks. Ingram also grabbed 11 total rebounds as TWU held opponents to 52.5 points for the week. She also scored in double digits in both games.
