Van Maanen had a three-home run game, one double and 12 RBIs over four games to lead Lubbock Christian to a series win over Oklahoma Christian. Van Maanen had a 5-for-5 game with a school record-tying 10 RBIs. On the week, Van Maanen had 10 hits, walked once and scored seven runs.

Martinez followed up a complete-game shutout with a 2-0 week – earning wins as a reliever and starter. The right-hander struck out 11 and scattered two hits over six innings of work. He allowed just one run against UT Permian Basin. Martinez had both of Texas A&M-Kingsville’s victories in the four-game series.
