MEN’S TRACK
Isaac Botsio, West Texas A&M, FR, Sports and Exercise Science, Takoradi, Ghana Ghana, Secondary Technical School
Botsio ran a 10.06 in the 100-meters and 20.95 in the 200-meters at the Jo Meaker Classic in Canyon, Texas. The West Texas A&M freshman’s 100m time is second best in NCAA Division II this year – the top wind legal time – and top 15 in the world. His 200m mark is top 15 in NCAA Division II.
MEN’S FIELD
Elvis Kryukov, Angelo State, JR, Management, Limassol, Cyprus, Agios Athanasios
Kryukov posted the best decathlon result in all of NCAA Division II this season with 7,296 points to win the David Noble Relays in San Angelo, Texas. The Angelo State junior was tops in discus (42.06m) and javelin (52.59m).
WOMEN’S TRACK
Corrssia Perry, West Texas A&M, SR, Graduate Student, Carrolton, Ga.
Perry won the 400-meters at the Jo Meaker Classic in Canyon, Texas with a 52.70. The West Texas A&M senior’s mark is tops in NCAA Division II this season.
WOMEN’S FIELD
Maricia Spence, Angelo State, JR, Economics, Christiana, Jamaica, Holmwood Technical HS
Spence won the heptathlon at the David Noble Relays in San Angelo, Texas with 5,513 points. The Angelo State junior’s total is the best in NCAA Division II this season. Spence also ranks sixth in the country after a long jump mark of 20-0.5 (6.11m).
