MEN’S TRACK
Butare Rugenerwa, West Texas A&M, Sr., Communications, Amarillo, Texas, AHS
Rugenerwa posted NCAA Division II top 10 times in the 800-meter and 1500-meter at the Bryan Clay Invitational at Azusa Pacific in Azusa, Calif. He also broke his personal records in both events with a 1:48.19 and 3:45.04, respectively. His times also ranked second in WT history.
 
MEN’S FIELD
Thomas Nieto, Texas A&M-Kingsville, SO, Undecided, Ibaque, Columbia
Nieto set the pole vault record at the 15th annual Cactus Cup by clearing 17-4.5 (5.30m). Nieto also helped Texas A&M-Kingsville to a runner-up team finish at Pepsi Field in Kingsville, Texas.
 
WOMEN’S TRACK
Eleonora Curtabbi, West Texas A&M, SR, Environmental Science, Turin, Italy
Curtabbi broke her own NCAA Division II season record in the steeplechase with a 9:57.76 at the Bryan Clay Invitational at Azusa Pacific in Azusa, Calif. Her winning time also ranks sixth all-time in Division II history. Curtabbi also ran in the 1500m, setting the Division II season record with a 4:18.72.
 
WOMEN’S FIELD
Katryna Hernandez, Texas A&M-Kingsville, JR, Kinesiology, Skidmore, Texas, Skidmore-Tynan HS
Hernandez took the title in the shot put at the Cactus Cup at Pepsi Field in Kingsville, Texas with a toss of 47-5 (14.45m). Her performance placed her 11th in NCAA Division II this season.
