Eduardo Acosta, Lubbock Christian, SR, Management, OF, San German, Puerto Rico, Montverde Academy
With his parents in town from Puerto Rico watching him for the first time in his Lubbock Christian career, Acosta went 9-for-17 with a home run, triple, double and nine RBIs to fuel a four-game sweep of West Texas A&M. Acosta’s homer was a walk-off in the bottom of the 10th inning in the series opener. He also scored six runs and finished the series with a four-hit performance.
 
Clay Bradford, St. Mary’s, SR, Finance and Rick Management, OF, Atascocita, Texas, AHS
Bradford went 9-for-14 with two home runs and three doubles to help the Rattlers to win three of four games against Eastern New Mexico. Bradford also had seven RBIs, walked twice and scored six runs. He slugged 1.286 and had multiple hits in three of the games. Bradofrd also logged 3 2/3 innings in a Friday night win.

Jackson Berry, Angelo State, JR, Exercise Science, LHP, Waco, Texas, Midway HS
Berry put together a complete-game effort with a season-high seven strikeouts to defeat nationally-ranked St. Edward’s and clinch the regular season title for top-ranked Angelo State. Berry only walked once batter and scattered five hits over the seven frames. He held the Hilltoppers to a .192 batting average.
