OFFENSIVE
Devin Larsen, Western New Mexico, Jr., Kinesiology, QB, Gilbert, Ariz., Queen Creek HS
Larsen went 23-for-39 for 396 yards and six touchdowns to lead Western New Mexico to a 42-28 home win over Sul Ross State. The Mustangs trailed 28-14 in the third quarter before Larsen produced passing TDs on four consecutive drives to take the lead and secure the victory. Four of Larsen’s TD passes went for 30-plus yards, including a 78-yard toss to Anthony Flores. Larsen also added 20 rushing yards.
 
DEFENSIVE
Eric Williams, Eastern New Mexico, Sr., Communication, CB, Las Vegas, Nev., LVHS
Williams totaled a career-high 12 tackles – including 2.5 for loss – and forced a fumble to help Eastern New Mexico to a 28-26 home win against New Mexico Highlands. His forced fumble set up the Greyhounds’ game-winning TD drive. Williams also added a pass break-up to lead a unit that allowed just 66 passing yards.
 
SPECIAL TEAMS
Amos Coleman III, Texas A&M-Kingsville, Sr., Criminology, PR/KR, New Orleans, La., Alief Elsik HS
Coleman III returned a kickoff 93 yards for a touchdown to help the Texas A&M-Kingsville to a 30-10 road win over Colorado Mesa. Coleman III’s TD tied the game at the time, 10-10. Coleman III also added three tackles – including a half sack – and two pass break-ups on defense.
