The month of January closes with teams facing opponents from the opposite division on Thursday and Saturday (Jan. 25, 27), including matchups between the top three Lone Star Conference squads. League-leading UT Tyler and second-place Texas Woman's each play at third-place Lubbock Christian—UTT on Thursday and TWU on Saturday—with stops at West Texas A&M.

The four northeastern-most LSC teams lock horns as West Division Cameron and Midwestern State make road trips to East Division Oklahoma Christian and UAFS. St. Edward's and St. Mary's head to UT Permian Basin and Angelo State with both Western and Eastern New Mexico playing at Texas A&M International and Texas A&M-Kingsville.

LSC Tournament: Eight teams advance to the 2024 LSC Women's Basketball Tournament scheduled March 8-10 at Comerica Center in Frisco, Texas. The tournament bracket will be announced March 2 following conclusion of the LSC season. To the tournament winner goes the league's automatic berth in the NCAA Division II Women's Basketball Championship.

Junior forward Ashley Ingram averaged a double-double—24 points and 10 rebounds—in leading #14 Texas Woman's to a pair of LSC wins over Texas A&M-Kingsville and #19 Texas A&M International. She opened the home set with 26 points, 7 rebounds and 2 steals vs. TAMUK, then came back with 22 points and 13 rebounds against TAMIU for her ninth double-double of the season while adding 3 blocked shots. Ingram moved up in two TWU career lists over the weekend, ranking sixth in scoring (1,170) and fifth in blocks (68).
 
DEFENSIVE
Ella Bradley, UT Tyler, F, Jr., Biochemistry, Cambridge, New Zealand
Ella Bradley put together career statistics on the way to securing a 2-0 weekend for LSC leading UT Tyler. Bradley put up career-highs in points (18) and rebounds (12) while anchoring a defense that held #19 Texas A&M International to its second lowest shooting percentage of the season (31.3%). Versus Texas A&M-Kingsville, the junior forward recorded career-highs for steals (5) and assists (5) as UT Tyler held the Javelinas to their third lowest shooting percentage of the season (36.2%). Bradley averaged 8.0 rebounds and 12.5 points shooting 50% from the floor and 64% at the line over the two games.
