The 2024 LSC Indoor Track and Field Championships will be held Feb. 23-24 at the University of Oklahoma in Norman, Okla. West Texas A&M is the defending conference champion on the men’s and women’s side.

MEN’S TRACK
Prince Mcabelo, West Texas A&M, Jr., Criminal Justice, Johannesburg, South Africa (Anchor Comprehensive HS)
Mcabelo posted a 1:51.91 in the 800-meter to place fifth at the Dr. MLK Jr. Collegiate Invitational in Albuquerque, N.M. His NCAA Division II provisional time ranks third in the country this year.  
 
MEN’S FIELD
Josh Body, Angelo State, Sr., Psychology, Abilene, Texas (Abilene Christian HS)
Body won the triple jump title with a 49-7.75 (15.13m) at the Southern Nazarene Invite in Norman, Okla. Body’s NCAA Division II provisional mark is tops in the conference this season and eighth overall in the country.
 
WOMEN’S TRACK
Eleonora Curtabbi, West Texas A&M, Gr., Environmental Science, Turin, Italy
Curtabbi ran the mile in 4:56.53 for a top-5 finish at the Dr. MLK Jr. Collegiate Invitational in Albuquerque, N.M. Her NCAA Division II provisional time ranks fifth in the country this season.

WOMEN’S FIELD
Meadow Gallentine, West Texas A&M, So., Psychology, Anson, Texas (AHS)
Gallentine won the weight throw title with a 58-4 (17.79m) at the Southern Nazarene Invite in Norman, Okla. Her NCAA Division II provisional throw ranks fourth in school history and is No. 15 in the nation.
