Women's 2024 LSC Championship RESULTS
West Texas A&M claimed a repeat Lone Star Conference Women's Cross Country championship and fourth overall title behind a sweep of the top three individual places on Saturday at Dick Kleberg Park in Kingsville, Texas.
The Lady Buffs totaled 17 points, sparked by individual medalist Sarah Koomson (20:32.16), Naomi Addo (second, 20:44.85) and LSC Newcomer of the Year Kalkidan Vincendeau (third, 20:54.30). Eliette Chaput finished fifth (21:10.14) and Julie LaFare sixth (21:13.88) to complete WT scoring.
DBU finished second among the 13 teams led by Leslie Salas at fourth (21:04.46) and Megan Williamson in seventh (21:32.72). Midwestern State placed third (113) followed by St. Edward's in fourth (145). LSC Freshman of the Year Kinley Kite (15th, 22:09.57) paced Oklahoma Christian to fifth place (150).
Texas A&M-Kingsville (157), Cameron (159), UT Tyler (181) and Angelo State (256) and finished 6-7-8-9, respectively. Lubbock Christian (281), Western New Mexico (308), Texas A&M International (350) and UT Permian Basin (407) completed team scoring. Eastern New Mexico competed as individuals.
