The 2024-25 Lone Star Conference men’s basketball season is in full swing and league games begin as early as Thursday (Nov. 21).
 
No. 3 West Texas A&M (4-0) is the only undefeated team in the league. St. Edward’s (6-1) has the most wins, followed by No. 5 DBU (5-1).
 
Eastern New Mexico is scoring a league-high 94 points per game and allowing a league-low 60.3 points per game.
 
Midwestern State’s Mason Gibson (33), WT’s Ahamed Mohammed (32) and DBU’s Ricky Lujan (30) have 30-point games.
 
Gibson is averaging a league-high 22.5 points per game, followed by Mohammed (22 ppg) and Angelo State’s Carvell Teasett (20 ppg). More league stat leaders include: Cameron’s Jaxon Ingram (12.8 rebounds pg and 2.3 blocks pg), Cameron’s Regie Prudhomme (5.5 assists pg) and ENMU’s Cooper Jackson (4.3 steals pg).

OFFENSIVE
Mason Gibson, Midwestern State, G, Jr., Business, Allen, Texas
Midwestern State junior guard Mason Gibson averaged 28 points, four rebounds and three assists to fuel wins over Western Colorado and Adams State. Gibson scored a career-high 33 points – the most in a single game in the conference this season – with five 3-pointers in the victory against Adams State. He had the game high in points against Western Colorado. Gibson has scored 20-plus points in three straight games. He added three steals and a block on the week.
 
DEFENSIVE
Jaxon Ingram, Cameron, C, Sr., Business Management, Durant, Okla.
Cameron senior center Jaxon Ingram averaged 13.5 rebounds (17 total on the defensive end) and 3.5 blocks over games against Adams State and Western Colorado. Ingram had a double double in each game as he averaged 12 points on 55 percent shooting from the floor. He added three steals on the week. Against Western Colorado, Ingram had 13 rebounds (11 defensive) and five blocks to lead the Aggies to their first win of the season.
