Thanksgiving Week brings a lighter schedule for the Lone Star Conference women's basketball teams. Ten teams have a single game scheduled while four teams compete in one of two weekend tournaments. The short schedule has the LSC picking-up Division II inter-regional competition against the RMAC, GAC, PSAC, and MIAA.  ...  Conference play resumes the first week of December with a busy slate of games Dec. 4-7.

St. Mary's and West Texas A&M each host holiday weekend tournaments Friday and Saturday (Nov.29-30). StMU and LSC member Texas A&M-Kingsville play Oklahoma Baptist (GAC) and Shippensburg (PSAC) in the St. Mary's Thanksgiving Classic (San Antonio). WT is joined by LSC member UT Permian Basin in games against South Central Region rivals Adams State and New Mexico Highlands from the RMAC in the Lady Buff Thanksgiving Classic (Canyon, Texas).
