The Lone Star Conference recognized 34 athletes on the league's Indoor Track and Field Preseason Athletes to Watch list.
The student-athletes – 17 men and 17 women – were nominated by their member institution for recognition.

The 2025 LSC Indoor Track and Field Championships will be held Feb. 21-22 at Albuquerque Convention Center in Albuquerque, N.M. West Texas A&M is the four-time defending conference champion on both the men's and women's side.
The NCAA Division II National Championship is set for March 13-15 at Fall Creek Pavillion at Indiana State Fairgrounds in Indianapolis, Ind.
The LSC had an individual national champion last year in WT's Florence Uwajeneza (5000 meters with a time of 16:05.17). As far as teams, WT finished in the top-5 of both the men's (fourth) and women's (fifth) standings. Angelo State was in the top-15 for men's (14th) and women's (eighth). The Texas A&M-Kingsville men finished 22nd.
