LSC 2024 Men's Basketball Tournament bracket announced

LSC Men's Basketball Championship Central

The 2024 Lone Star Conference Men’s Basketball Championship bracket is set following the conclusion of regular season games on Saturday (March 2). The eight-team, single-elimination tournament will be held March 7-9-10 at Comerica Center in Frisco, Texas.

The quarterfinals will take place Thursday, March 7, followed by the semifinals on Saturday, March 9, and the championship game on Sunday, March 10.

West Texas A&M (26-3, 20-2 LSC) won its second consecutive LSC regular season championship – and 11th overall – to earn the top seed. The Buffs, who were ranked No. 1 in the National Association of Basketball Coaches Top 25 Coaches Poll for five weeks this season, also claimed the West Division title with a 13-1 record. WT enters as the six-time defending tournament champion and will take on No. 8 seed Cameron (17-11, 13-9) in Thursday’s quarterfinals at 6 p.m. CT. Cameron is in the event for the first time since 2019.

DBU (24-4, 18-4) received the No. 2 seed by securing the East Division title with a 13-1 mark. The Patriots, who were ranked as high as No. 4 in the country this season, will play No. 7 seed Texas A&M International (17-11, 13-9) at 2:30 p.m. CT in the quarterfinals. TAMIU is making its first LSC tournament appearance.

Lubbock Christian (21-9, 16-6) will be the No. 3 seed and take on No. 6 seed St. Edward’s (21-10, 9-5) in the quarterfinals at Noon CT. Both teams are making their fifth consecutive LSC tourney appearance.

Eastern New Mexico (19-9, 15-7) is the No. 4 seed and will take on No. 5 seed Angelo State (19-9, 15-7) in the quarterfinals at 8:30 p.m. CT. ENMU enters on a league-high five-game winning streak, while ASU reached the title game last year.

Saturday’s semifinals will feature the WT/CU winner against the ENMU/ASU winner at 2:30 p.m. CT and the DBU/TAMIU winner against the LCU/SEU winner at Noon CT. The title game will tip at 1 p.m. CT on Sunday.

Tickets are available as single-session passes. Prices are $18 for adults and $12 for students. Each single-session ticket includes two tournament games and is redeemable for the specified session only. Tickets can be purchased at Comerica Center Box Office or online through Ticketmaster now through the end of the tournament.
