LSC Women's Basketball Championship Central
The eight-team bracket for the 2024 Lone Star Conference Women's Basketball Championship is set following completion of the conference season. The 42nd edition of the LSC women's tournament is scheduled Friday through Sunday (March 8-10) at Comerica Center in Frisco, Texas.
Texas Woman's won the LSC season championship for a second straight season and is the No. 1 tournament seed.
Tournament play begins with four quarterfinal matches on Friday. The day's first session features No. 3 UT Permian Basin versus No. 6 Angelo State at 12 p.m. followed by No. 2 UT Tyler versus No. 7 West Texas A&M at 2:30 p.m. The second session begins with No. 1 Texas Woman's faces No. 8 UAFS in the 5 p.m. game, while at 8:30 p.m. No. 4 Texas A&M International meeting No. 5 Lubbock Christian.
The quarterfinal winners advance to the Saturday semifinal games at 6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. The LSC Championship game is scheduled Sunday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. The tournament winner earns the LSC automatic qualifying berth to the Division II Women's Basketball Championship.

Texas Woman's (26-4, 20-2 LSC) is making its 19th appearance in the LSC Tournament and enter the postseason winning 16 of their last 17 games. The Pioneers were tournament runner-up a year ago and won the 2011 tournament. In addition to the season title, TWU claimed the LSC East Division championship for a second straight season. TWU is the top-ranked team in the Division II South Central Region and hold the 10th spot in the latest Women's Basketball Coaches Association poll. ... LSC Tournament Record: 11-17 (.393).

UT Tyler (24-7, 18-4 LSC) is playing in its third LSC Tournament. The Patriots have advanced to the semifinals in each of their tournament appearances (2022, 2023). UT Tyler won the Division II South Central Regional title a year ago, advancing to the Elite Eight in the national tournament. UT Permian Basin (22-6, 17-5 LSC) is making its first appearance in the LSC Tournament after compiling a school record 22 wins in a season, including an all-time best 17 LSC victories. Texas A&M International (24-6, 16-6 LSC) makes a third trip to the LSC Tournament after earning its best-ever seeding in the postseason event. Lubbock Christian (21-8, 16-6 LSC) qualified to the LSC Tournament for a fifth consecutive year. The Lady Chaps won back-to-back tournament championships in 2020 and 2021, capping the 2021 season as NCAA Division II national champions and undefeated (23-0). Angelo State (20-11, 14-8 LSC) is defending LSC Tournament champion upending Texas Woman's 63-62 in the 2023 title game. LSC Championships Notes
The women share the Comerica Center stage with the LSC Men's Basketball Tournament. The men's quarterfinal games are played on Thursday followed by the semifinal games on Saturday afternoon (12 p.m., 2:30 p.m.) and the final on Sunday (1 p.m.). Ticket information is available at the LSC website

Tickets for the LSC Basketball Tournaments are available as single session passes priced at $18 for adults and $12 for students. Each single-session ticket includes two tournament games and is redeemable for the specified session only. Tickets can be purchased at Comerica Center Box Office or online through Ticketmaster (
ticketmaster.com) now through the end of the tournament. Tickets purchased on Ticketmaster are subject to additional fees and taxes. No additional fees will be applied to tickets purchased at Comerica Center Box Office.
