Cassidi Mullen filled up the box score in No. 6 UT Tyler's trio of 8-0 run-rules of UT Permian Basin. The senior utility player hit .714 at the plate, finishing the series 5-for-7, scored three runs and drove in three runs. She swiped a pair of bases and drew two walks, finishing the three games with an .800 on-base percentage, and was 3-for-3 and 2-for-2 at the plate in the first two games of the series.
 
PITCHER
Savannah Youngblood, St. Mary's, RHP, Jr., Mechanical Engineering, Kingwood, Texas (New Caney HS)
Savannah Youngblood won two games and added a save in three appearances as St. Mary's went 6-0, sweeping series over St. Edward's and Texas A&M International. In game three against SEU, Youngblood entered with two outs in the first inning and allowed only one hit over the next 6.1 innings, retiring 17 in a row. In the 15-inning contest at TAMIU, Youngblood needed only six pitches to retire two batters and pickup her second save of the year. The junior right-hander pitched four innings and gave up only one hit, allowing the Rattlers offense to score three runs in the 11th for the 4-1 victory.
