DBU defender Coe headlines LSC Women’s Soccer All-Academic team

 
DBU senior defender Parker Coe claimed Lone Star Conference Women's Soccer Academic Player of the Year honors and headlines the conference women's soccer academic awards, it was announced by league officials Wednesday (Nov. 12).
 
An education major from Carrollton, Texas, Coe carries a 3.93 grade-point average and is a United Soccer Coaches All-America Scholar and All-West Region Scholar First Team honoree (2024). She is two-time College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honoree and has been cited for LSC Commissioner's Honor Roll award in each of her six semesters. On the pitch, Coe was named to the USC All-America Second Team and All-South Central Region First Team (2024) and a two-time All-LSC First Team honoree. In 2025, Coe was named USC September National Player of the Month and LSC Defensive Player of the Week (Sept. 22). Entering the LSC Tournament semifinals, Coe has five goals with four assists for top-ranked LSC champion DBU.
 
Coe is joined on the LSC Women's Soccer All-Academic team by Harper Saxon, Angelo State; Anne Louthan, DBU; Tanner Sorenson and Ella Spiller, Lubbock Christian; Raquel Fanelli and Caid Jefferson, Oklahoma Christian; Daria Schlumbohm, St. Edward's; Elena Kossler, St. Mary's; Valeria Delgado, UT Permian Basin; and Brooke Mullins, UT Tyler.
 
A three-time LSC All-Academic honoree, Coe joins two-time award recipients Schlumbohm and Mullin who was the 2024 Women's Soccer Academic Player of the Year.
 
The All-Academic Team, selected by vote of the LSC sports information directors, recognizes student-athlete accomplishments in the classroom and on the soccer pitch. To be eligible for the All-Academic Team ballot, individuals must maintain a 3.30 cumulative grade-point average and have reached sophomore athletic eligibility.
 
Coe will be a candidate for the 2025-26 LSC Fred Jacoby Academic Athlete of the Year award which is announced in June.
