Watch LSC Men’s Basketball live on FloCollege
All but two of the 17 Lone Star Conference men’s basketball teams have gotten their season underway. Of those, five are still unbeaten: Angelo State (5-0), St. Edward’s (6-0), No. 25 Lubbock Christian (4-0), St. Mary’s (2-0) and West Texas A&M (4-0).
LSC hoops action continues this week with four games Tuesday, seven games Thursday, four games Friday and 13 games Saturday. To see the league schedule, click

No. 3 DBU is the favorite to win the LSC title this season, according the
preseason poll. StMU senior guard Damani Claxton was voted
preseason player of the year.
The LSC men’s basketball tournament will feature the top eight teams and is set for March 5, 7-8 at
Comerica Center in Frisco, Texas. Tickets will go on sale in February.
Due to being NCAA Division II provisional members, new league member UT Dallas and Sul Ross State are not eligible for the LSC tournament but are able to win the LSC regular season title and postseason awards.

OFFENSIVE
Ryder Bradley, St. Edward’s, PG, Fr., Business Administration, Leander, Texas
St. Edward’s freshman point guard Ryder Bradley averaged 19 points, four assists, three rebounds and 2.5 steals to help fuel a 2-0 showing against Colorado Christian and Colorado Mesa at the South Central Regional Crossover in Dallas, Texas. Bradley scored 16 of his game-high 22 points in the second half in the 72-62 win over Colorado Mesa that improved the Hilltoppers’s to 6-0 on the season. Over the two games, he shot 61.9 percent from the field and went 4-for-10 from 3-point range.
DEFENSIVE
Ja’Queze Kirby, Angelo State, F, Sr., Coach, Sport, Rec and Fitness Admin., Hazlehurst, Ga.
Angelo State senior forward Ja’Queze Kirby averaged 10 rebounds, three steals and two blocks over a 2-0 against Western Colorado and Adams State. Kirby, who also averaged 8.5 points, pulled down 12 defensive rebounds. In a 68-61 win over Adams State, Kirby had a team-high of 13 boards and two blocks to help the Rams improve their record to 5-0.
