Texas A&M-Kingsville’s Robert wins Indoor Track and Field Elite 90 Award

Texas A&M-Kingsville senior Vitiana Robert won the NCAA’s prestigious Elite 90 Award for Women’s Track and Field, it was announced March 12 at the NCAA Division II Festival before the national meet in Indianapolis, Ind.

The Elite 90 Award, which was established in the 2009-10 academic year, honors the one student-athlete with the highest cumulative GPA at the finals site of the NCAA’s 90 championships across all levels. Robert becomes TAMUK’s first ever winner. She is the LSC’s 19th winner and first in indoor track and field.

Robert, a native of Tarbes, France, is an Animal-Wildlife Vet Technology major with a 4.0 grade-point average. She competes in the 4x400 relay team.
