The five-team field has been announced for the 2026 Lone Star Conference Men's Tennis Championship, which will be held April 30-May 2 (Thursday-Saturday) at Arlington Tennis Center in Arlington, Texas. Punching tickets are No. 10 Lubbock Christian, No. 6 UT Tyler, No. 31 Cameron, No. 24 Midwestern State and St. Mary’s.

LCU (16-5 overall) is the No. 1 seed after claiming the first regular season title in program history with a perfect 8-0 league record. The Chaps are the defending tournament champions. LCU enters on a league-best nine-match winning streak. The Chaps received a first-round bye.

UT Tyler (19-4, 7-1 LSC) is the No. 2 seed and will open with a semifinal match against No. 3 seed Cameron (12-4, 6-2 LSC) on Friday at noon CT. Both teams have won the LSC tournament crown twice. UT Tyler (2024 and 2022) has prevailed in eight consecutive matches, while CU (2023 and 2017) has won four in a row.

No. 4 seed Midwestern State (13-7, 5-3 LSC) and No. 5 St. Mary’s (12-6, 4-4 LSC) will play the only quarterfinals match on Thursday at noon CT. MSU has won this event three times (2019, 2018 and 2013).

The MSU-StMU winner will face LCU in the semifinals on Friday at 1 p.m. CT.

The championship match is set for Saturday at 1 p.m. CT.

The tournament format is three, six-game set doubles matches with a seven-point tiebreak at six-all. Following doubles matches, teams will play six best-of-three set singles matches. Once one team reaches four points, remaining singles matches will be abandoned.

The winner of the conference tournament will be named the LSC Men’s Tennis Tournament champion and earn the league’s automatic qualification to the 2026 NCAA Division II Championship.
